-describes a scene or a person's physical characteristics, or time

-In English it is signaled by the helping verb, I was talking...we were running... Or - I used to walk to school Imperfect Tense
-AR verbs are formed by -dropping -ar ending -Keep stem, add endings below
For example: Hablar- to speak
Yo hablaba- I used to talk Tu hablabas- you used to talk/ you were talking El, ella, ud. - hablaba ( he, she, it was talking) Nosotros/as- hablábamos ( we used to talk) Vosotros/as- hablabais (you (all) used to talk) Ellos, ellas, uds. hablaban ( they were/ used to talk)
